We don’t do…

We don’t do poo!

It can be quite distressing, as you may well imagine, turning up to work to find dog poo all over the floor.

It is even more distressing when you are expected to mow a lawn or kneel in flower beds full of poo!

We love dogs. We have dogs ouselves. We don’t love dog poo.

If you have a dog please have some respect for our gardners and pick up your dogs poo before we arrive.

It may seem obvious to most but here are the reasons why we don’t do poo:

1. Some people think that you can mow over the poo and it gets collected and thrown in the green bin.
That may be ok if you are putting your mower and boots away in the shed at the end of the day.
We have to work with our equipment all day.
When we have finished the mower and our boots go in the van and if they are covered in poo it makes for a smelly, and let’s be honest not a nice environment to be in for the day.
The next day when we open the vehicle is not a great start to the day either 🙁
Also when the grass is damp we may have to put our hands in the catcher to get the grass out 🙁
We also have to clean our equipment…

2. Ever wondered what mess a whipper snipper and a poo can make?
Not worth thinking about 🙁

3. Poo stinks! So does working with it. We don’t do poo!

We don’t do really high hedges.

While we try to accomodate all kinds of garden maintenance we have our limits.

We have long reach extentions for our hedgers and a 2m platform to reach high hedges but there are some hedges that we can’t get to.

If in doubt we are happy to come round and evaluate or send us some photos and we’ll see if they are within our reach 🙂

 

We don’t do really big trees.

We can cut down and dig out many trees and stumps but we have our limits.

Sometimes the trunk is too thick and will be beyond our expertise.

Sometimes the tree may be too close to the house or power lines.

We will always advise if you need to get a trained arbourist to do the job.

 

We don’t do stump grinding.

Stump grinding takes specialist equipment which we don’t have.

 

We don’t do pressure washing.
